Who You Get On Set

Jerry Rigged in Colorado Springs is a key grip and grip equipment rental company led by veteran key grip and vehicle rigging specialist Jerry Vogt, established in 2000. With over two decades on film, television, commercial, music video, and photo sets, Jerry plans, builds, and supervises safe, practical rigs that protect your schedule and your crew. Productions gain a calm department head who understands both creative intent and hard engineering limits.

Experience That Protects Your Day

Our work lives where high-speed action, heavy gear, and tight time windows meet. Jerry brings union and guild experience, production safety training, insurance for production work, and first aid and CPR certification to every build. That background matters when a camera rides on a moving vehicle or talent works near rigged hardware. We read the risk, engineer the rig, and keep communication clear so producers, DPs, and ADs can push creative without gambling safety.

How Our Team Works

We show up organized, with a 48 ft film trailer, a 16 ft rigging trailer, and hardware selected for real production conditions. Jerry leads the grip department, integrates with your crew, and keeps setups moving with fast builds and clean breakdowns. Whether supporting a small indie or a larger unit, we stay calm under pressure, adjust to live changes, and keep the camera department covered so your day makes it through the call sheet.

Safety

Certified, insured practices that protect cast, crew, and gear on every build.

Precision

Collaboration

Calm communication with directors, DPs, and producers that keeps days moving.

Jerry Vogt, Owner

Jerry Vogt has spent more than twenty years as a working key grip and vehicle rigging specialist, building rigs that keep cameras rolling and crews safe. He combines heavy-engineering mindset with real set experience, so every car mount, slider run, and platform is designed to be both safe and fast to work with. Union and guild background, production safety training, insurance, and first aid and CPR certification give producers clear confidence when shots involve speed, height, or talent near moving hardware.

On set, Jerry runs the grip department with calm, direct communication. He translates a DP's wish list into concrete, buildable rigs, then keeps the work moving so the schedule holds. That means fewer resets, fewer safety rewrites, and more usable takes delivered on time, even when weather and locations fight the plan.
